Return & Refund Policy

1. Return Window

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the conditions outlined in Section 2 below. Returns initiated after the 15-day window will not be accepted unless the product is defective or damaged.

2. Return Conditions

For a return to be accepted, the item must meet all of the following conditions:

• Unused and unworn: The item must not have been worn, washed, ironed, or altered in any way.
• Original tags intact: All brand tags, price tags, and labels must be attached and undamaged.
• Original packaging: The item should be returned in its original packaging, including any branded bags, tissue paper, or boxes.
• No stains, perfume, or deodorant marks: Items with any signs of use, including odour, stains, or makeup marks, will not be accepted for return.
• Complete set: For sets and combos (e.g., co-ord sets, outfit bundles), all pieces must be returned together.

Items that do not meet these conditions will be shipped back to you at your expense, and no refund will be issued.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of products cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene and safety reasons:

• Innerwear and lingerie: Bras, panties, slips, and shapewear.
• Swimwear: Bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, and beach cover-ups.
• Accessories: Jewellery, hair accessories, scarves, and belts.
• Personalised or customised items: Products with custom embroidery, monogramming, or alterations.
• Gift cards and vouchers: Digital and physical gift cards.
• Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable": Clearly marked on the product page at the time of purchase.

If you receive a non-returnable item that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will resolve the issue.

4. How to Initiate a Return

Returning an item is simple. Follow these steps:

Alternatively, you can email us at support@ruchicrest.in with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return. Our team will guide you through the process.

5. Refund Timeline & Methods

After we receive and verify your returned item, refunds are processed as follows:

For COD orders, we will contact you to collect your bank account details for processing the refund. Please ensure the bank account is in the name of the account holder who placed the order.

Shipping charges (if originally paid) are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or wrong item delivered by us.

6. Exchanges

We offer free exchanges for size and colour variations within the 15-day return window, subject to stock availability.

• To request an exchange, follow the same steps as initiating a return (Section 4), but select "Exchange" instead of "Return".
• Choose your preferred size or colour from the available options.
• We will ship the replacement item after picking up and verifying the original item.
• If the desired size or colour is out of stock, you will receive a full refund instead.
• Exchanges are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of pickup.

Exchange for a completely different product is not available. In that case, please return the original item and place a new order.

7. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during shipping, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number.
• Clear photographs of the defect, damage, or wrong item.
• A brief description of the issue.

For confirmed defective/damaged items, we will:

• Arrange a free return pickup at no cost to you.
• Offer a full refund (including shipping charges) or a free replacement, based on your preference.
• Process the resolution within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item.

8. Cancellation vs. Return

If you change your mind before the order is shipped, you can cancel it directly from My Account > My Orders. Cancelled orders are refunded within 3-5 business days to the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You will need to wait for delivery and then initiate a return as described above.
